As everyone knows, the people of Ukraine are currently undergoing a terrible humanitarian crisis.
According to Spain’s ‘El Mundo’ newspaper, in the space of a week, over one million Ukrainians have already left their land to protect themselves and their families. Sadly, this movement of refugeees is only expected to increase over the next few weeks.
At Solaga Holiday Homes, we can only express our feelings of utter sorrow and consternation over the current situation of the Ukrainian people. As with many local companies, we have been trying to find a way to help and “do our bit” to help our European fellows.

SOLAGA STANDS WITH UKRAINE
Politics aside, the current conflict in Ukraine is causing a devastating humanitarian crisis that is simply unbearable. At Solaga Holiday Homes, we can but find ways to help, within our realm of possibilities.
Being a small holiday rental company based in Malaga, we have been trying over the last few days to find a way to assist, asking ourselves a question that many at home have been asking themselves lately: what can we do to help?
Both Solaga Holiday Homes property owners and ourselves have decided to provide free accommodation to our Ukrainian guests who are stranded in Malaga as well as to their families and friends who have escaped the country to meet them here, all of them in need of a roof over their head until the situation improves. This is our humble contribution to this humanitarian emergency while we continue to find other ways to assist.
The Malaga City Hall is also offering complimentary accommodation for Ukrainian refugees in parts of the city. For more information, you can contact the Ukrainian Consulate on (+34) 636548017 or by email: malagaucr@gmail.com
